I would highly recommend making the minimum donation to $5, there are many people like me that would love to donate and see if the donation is actually worth it but donating $15 is a little to high for a first donation in my opinion. I think the server would get more donations if people have the $5 option available to them, they would rather donate $5 a few times a week/month than spend $15 straight away.

Also, could you give more bonus pts to the more frequent customers?
Something like 5% more points for every 5k points you already have bought.
Here's a example:
1st purchase: 2.2k pts - you get 2.2k
2nd purchase: 750 pts - you get 750
3rd purchase: 2.2k pts - you get 2.2k
4th purchase: 2.2k pts - you get 2.2k+5%=2310 pts (because by this purchase you have already bought 5k+ pts and get a 5% bonus on the following purchases)
